CashKaro Posts ₹21 Crore EBITDA Loss in FY25 Amid Revenue Growth

0

CashKaro, the cashback and affiliate commerce platform, reported a jump in operating revenue to ₹350 crore for FY25, up from ₹302 crore in FY24. However, this growth came with rising investments and resulted in an EBITDA loss of ₹21 crore, compared to ₹15 crore the previous year Finance Outlook India.

Revenue & GMV Growth

The company facilitated over ₹6,000 crore in GMV (gross merchandise value) for more than 1,500 partner brands, spanning 36 million transactions across CashKaro and its sister platform EarnKaro

Why the Loss Expanded

The increase in loss is primarily due to strategic reinvestments. CashKaro expanded its tech team and boosted efforts across EarnKaro and BankKaro verticals, impacting its EBITDA performance despite higher revenue

What It Means

  • Growth-focused strategy: CashKaro is prioritizing long-term scale over near-term profitability, reinvesting for future traction.
  • New verticals driving innovation: Expansion into financial services and affiliate marketing growth signals diversification.
  • Path to profitability: While FY25 showed higher losses, the revenue trends coupled with strategic investment could pave the way to profitability in subsequent years.
