Arinox, KOGO launch ‘CommandCORE’, India’s 1st sovereign AI product

In a significant move toward data sovereignty and private enterprise intelligence, Arinox AI and KOGO officially launched CommandCORE on February 16, 2026. Unveiled at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, the product is being hailed as India’s first “sovereign AI-in-a-box”—a hardware-software integrated system designed to run complex AI workloads entirely on-premises without an internet connection.

By decoupling AI from the public cloud, CommandCORE addresses the primary concerns of regulated industries: data privacy, operational security, and the high recurring costs of cloud-based LLMs.

The “AI-in-a-Box” Architecture

CommandCORE is not just a server; it is a full-stack “agentic” environment that arrives ready to deploy. It is built on four distinct layers:

  1. Custom Hardware: Powered by NVIDIA and Qualcomm silicon, including configurations like Jetson Orin for the edge and RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell for data centers.
  2. KOGO OS (AVOS): A specialized agentic operating system that manages model orchestration, memory, and security.
  3. Enterprise Agent Suite: Includes 500+ pre-built connectors and 80+ ready-to-deploy agents for functions like HR, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  4. Sovereign Models: Leverages open-source and proprietary models optimized for private, air-gapped environments.
ConfigurationParameters SupportedTarget Use Case
Small (Edge)1B – 7BRetail outlets, EV stations, HR onboarding.
Medium (On-Prem)20B – 30BComplex inference, batch processing, BFSI.
Large (Data Center)400B+Enterprise-wide transformation, defense, and gov.

The Economic Pitch: 40% Lower TCO

Beyond security, KOGO CEO Raj K Gopalakrishnan emphasized that the system is an “economic imperative.”

  • Cloud Savings: The system aims for a 40% to 67% reduction in the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to traditional cloud AI subscriptions over a three-year period.
  • Bandwidth Optimization: In a real-world example of EV charging stations, CommandCORE can process 30TB of daily local data and transmit only 200GB of essential insights to the cloud, drastically reducing bandwidth costs.
  • Human Augmentation: The companies claim a 100 AI FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) capacity for a single large-scale unit.

Strategic Context: Private Intelligence

The launch aligns with the growing global trend of “Sovereign AI,” where nations and enterprises seek to own their intelligence rather than “farming it out” to third-party providers.

  • Target Sectors: The product is specifically designed for high-security environments, including Defense, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), and Government services.
  • Global Ambition: While launched in India, Arinox spokespeople noted that the KOGO OS is a “horizontal platform” with global relevance, targeting international markets where data localization is mandatory.
  • Shipping Date: CommandCORE is scheduled to begin shipping to early enterprise customers on April 19, 2026, with pricing starting at ₹10 lakh.

“The only way an organisation can exponentially increase its own intelligence and learning is by keeping AI private. It must own the AI.” — Raj K Gopalakrishnan, CEO and Co-Founder of KOGO AI.
