- However, several older but popular models—like the entire Xiaomi 11 series, Redmi Note 12, most Redmi K50 variants (except Ultra), POCO M5, and POCO X5—won’t receive HyperOS 3, mainly due to performance limitations
Why It Matters
HyperOS 3 marks an evolution from MIUI, reinforcing Xiaomi’s “Human × Car × Home” ecosystem vision. By integrating AI, enhancing performance, and bridging cross-platform boundaries (including iOS/macOS), HyperOS 3 delivers a smarter, smoother, and more connected user experience.
Still, its rollout strategy shows Xiaomi balancing innovation with realism—ensuring newer hardware delivers the OS’s full potential while phasing out older devices that can’t keep up.
