Pocket FM’s creator economy has crossed a major milestone, with total payouts to creators exceeding ₹300 crore — a strong signal of the platform’s rising influence in India’s digital audio and storytelling ecosystem.

The platform, known for episodic audio stories and serialised fiction, said its cumulative creator-driven revenue has now surpassed ₹300 crore and is on track to reach an ambitious ₹1,000 crore by the end of 2026.

Pocket FM reported that more than 300,000 creators published content on the platform over the past year, many of them first-time storytellers using its suite of AI-powered creative tools to draft, structure and produce professional-quality audio series.

According to company data, the growing creator base is already seeing meaningful income: over 20 % of monetised creators now earn more than ₹1 lakh per month, while the top 1 % of creators earn over ₹50 lakh annually — underscoring how digital storytelling is emerging as a viable revenue stream for independent voices.

Pocket FM’s use of AI to help plan story arcs, maintain narrative continuity, and accelerate production has been a key driver of participation, allowing creators from across India to publish long-form content without needing traditional production teams.

With its creator economy now generating billions of minutes of listening every month and its sights set on expanding to 1 million creators by 2026, Pocket FM is positioning itself as a major hub in the fast-growing audio entertainment sector — particularly in regional languages and global markets.

This milestone reflects both the rising creator-led monetisation opportunities in India’s digital economy and broader trends toward AI-assisted content creation across media platforms.
