At Google I/O 2025, Google and XREAL introduced Project Aura, a new pair of augmented reality (AR) smart glasses that blend advanced technology with fashionable design. These glasses are the second official device to run on Google’s Android XR platform, following Samsung’s Project Moohan headset .


Key Features of Project Aura

Availability

Project Aura is currently in the prototype phase, with select users testing the device. More details, including pricing and release dates, are expected to be announced at the Augmented World Expo in June 2025 .
