China’s state-owned CRRC Qingdao Sifang has developed a high-speed magnetic levitation (maglev) train designed to cruise at 600 km/h (~373 mph). The prototype, which rolled off the line in July 2021, has now completed key dynamic test runs, meeting all technical performance indicators and marking it as the fastest ground vehicle in the world
