Adidas has unveiled its latest innovation—the Climacool 3D Printed Sneaker, a fully 3D-printed, slip-on shoe that redefines comfort and breathability. Launched globally on May 2, 2025, this sneaker marks a significant advancement in footwear technology.

A New Era of Design

The Climacool sneaker is crafted entirely through 3D printing, utilizing a rubbery lattice structure that varies in density to provide optimal support and flexibility. This design ensures enhanced airflow, keeping feet cool and comfortable during wear. Weighing approximately 416 grams, the shoe offers a snug fit reminiscent of water shoes, with a soft, responsive insole for added comfort.

Availability and Pricing

Priced at $140, the Climacool is available in an off-white colorway. Consumers can purchase the sneaker through the Adidas Confirmed app and select retail locations, including stores in New York City, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The Verge

Collaborative Efforts

Adidas has also partnered with lifestyle brand Kith to introduce a special edition of the Climacool sneaker. This collaboration features gradient grey stripes on the upper, adding a unique aesthetic to the futuristic design. The Kith x Adidas Climacool was released on May 1, 2025, at Kith stores, with the general release following on May 2.

Looking Ahead

The introduction of the Climacool 3D Printed Sneaker signifies Adidas’s commitment to innovation and sustainable manufacturing practices. By embracing 3D printing technology, the brand aims to reduce material waste and explore new possibilities in customized footwear. Future iterations may include personalized fits based on individual foot scans, further enhancing the user experience.
