On July 1, 2025, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw officially launched RailOne, a brand-new “super-app” designed to consolidate almost all Indian Railways services into a single platform. With ticket booking, live train enquiries, journey planning, onboard food orders, Rail Madad assistance, and freight-related services, the RailOne app delivers a seamless experience for travellers.

  • Guest login option: Access key features via OTP without registration .
  • Backend engineered to handle up to 150,000 bookings and 4 million enquiries per minute, with multilingual and accessibility support

Developed by CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems), the app aims to eliminate the need for multiple platforms like IRCTC RailConnect, UTS, NTES, and Rail Madad, thereby saving users storage space and simplifying journeys indiatoday


🛠️ Pilot & Rollout Phase

RailOne was launched during CRIS’s 40th Foundation Day celebration. Initially available on both Android and iOS, it features single sign-on and a guest login. Indian Railways plans to expand the system widely to all premium, mail, and express trains after successful piloting
