Honor has introduced the Magic V3, setting a new world record as the thinnest foldable smartphone. At just 9.2 mm thick when folded (and 4.35 mm unfolded), it beats competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The device weighs only 226 g, making it lighter than many traditional flagship phones
Honor achieves this by using a silicon-carbon battery and ultra-light titanium hinge, housed in an aerospace-grade design certified to withstand 500,000 folds, and IPX8 water resistance. The device features dual 120 Hz OLED displays—a 7.92‑inch inside and a 6.43‑inch cover screen—with high peak brightness, stylus support, and flicker-free PWM dimming
Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (or Gen 2 in some markets), with up to 24 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, plus a 5,150 mAh battery supporting 66 W fast charging. The camera setup includes a high-resolution triple system with powerful AI enhancements
Available globally since IFA 2024, the Magic V3 launched in Europe starting at around £1,699 (€1,999, ~$2,218). As the world’s sleekest foldable, it marks a monumental step forward in smartphone design and portability.
